It’s entirely possible that you all get bored of my tendency to return to this classic palette, but it always looks new to me, and always fresh. And since it is dark and gloomy here today, I thought I’d brighten things up with this green and white inspiration board. It is spring, after all! I love that even though this is a more formal wedding board, there is still lots of fun in it – little cakes, croquet, and groomsmen goofing around with parasols.

Mood: classic, fresh
Palette: white, green

Sometimes themed weddings seem like they’re trying too hard. But sometimes they are too fun to resist, like this carnival themed inspiration board! There are so many ways to play with this theme: using tickets, balloons, carnival food, etc. If you want to splurge, you could have a fireworks show to end the evening; if not, how about sparklers?

Mood: fun and games
Palette: red, yellow, hints of blue

I think if I were having a ranch wedding, I’d do it something like this, in late summer, with lots of wildflowers. And how really cool would it be if the groom and groomsmen wore jeans and suspenders? I think it works perfectly in this rustic inspiration board.

Mood: rustic summer romance
Palette: tan, yellow, green

Seeing Ceci New York‘s fun invitations on Ritzy Bee reminded me of how fun a black and pink palette is. Here’s a punk-rocker styled wedding in hot pink and black for you today.

How fabulous is that horseshoe table with that fabulous red tablecloth and orange lanterns (found via Elizabeth Anne Designs)? That was the main inspiration for this sassy outdoor summer wedding board. Also, I think nasturtiums and limes are an excellent choice for a palette, because they are both fun and bold, and you can include them in so many other elements (nasturtiums on salad, limes in drinks and desserts). I know I could probably say this about most of the inspiration boards I post, but I would love to go to this wedding.

Mood: sassy, fun summer elegance
Palette: nasturtium orange, lime green
