I love a rustic look, but I also love a garden look. Here, I’ve softened a rustic venue and its more rugged elements with pale pinks and blues, plenty of beautiful flowers, and pretty calligraphy. In lieu of a traditional guest book, let guests write their notes on address cards and then file them alphabetically in an old recipe box – or use this as a way to organize escort cards instead. Cover some favorite hardbound books with kraft paper. It’s a simple and cost-effective decorative element which can double as a favor for guests to take home.
