You know I can’t go too many days without posting a green and white inspiration board! I can’t help it! Especially when I see a beautiful photo like the one styled by the lovely, talented Chelsea Fuss – creamy white with a touch of green. I decided to go with a really pale pistachio green to create a soft, clean palette for this wedding board.

Mood: soft, fresh
Palette: pale pistachio green, cream

I’ve been wanting to do a kitschy wedding board for awhile, full of retro patterns and super-saturated colors, and that’s what we have here today, in a fun take on a garden luncheon wedding. Have a buffet of homemade retro desserts, and if there’s room, set up badminton or bocce ball for your guests. Look to retro patterns for stationery inspiration, and even consider wearing a vintage dress (or maybe convince your bridesmaids to go vintage?). Also, I’m not sure how many times I’ve used it in different inspiration boards (clearly I love it), but that French net veil by Leah C. is perfect here. If you like this idea, but want to tone it down a bit, you might choose two or three colors to focus on, rather than this Kodachrome-tastic rainbow palette.

Mood: kitschy fun
Palette: saturated colors

I know some of you aren’t quite ready for fall, but maybe you’re ready for some fall wedding inspiration? I’ve done an apple wedding board before and I thought I’d revisit that theme here, though in a more rustic venue. I would use burlap (maybe for table runners?), twine, and kraft paper wherever possible – this is the perfect wedding for them! Oh, and if you’re wondering about the title of this post, it’s the name of a song from the 1950′s that my mom sang to me when I was little.

Mood: rustic abundance
Palette: red, wheat, green

First off, I love all of the responses we’ve been getting for the ban.do giveaway – some of them even include some fabulous haiku! If you haven’t already, you have until Friday at midnight to enter. Also, don’t forget the great discounts available this month: 10% off at Theme Fragrance and 25% off at Sonya Renee!

And onto today’s board… How amazing is that photo of the blue bench in such a clean white room? That image was the inspiration behind this rich blue and crisp white wedding board. So often, this color combination is used for a nautical themed wedding or party, but here I wanted to go more for the classic look of blue and white patterned china. I think this look would work well for a wedding in winter, spring or summer…

Mood: classic, preppy

I love the earthy colors in this warm Tex-Mex inspired wedding board. Tamales, mariachi, and dancing under strings of papeles picados sound like a party I’d like to attend! Don’t you think this would also make for a really fun rehearsal dinner party?

Mood: warm, festive
Palette: marigold, burgundy, tan
