Well friends, I thought I would have a little more free time (and a little more internet access!) on my trip this weekend, but it looks like I’m going to be a bit of a delinquent blogger until I’m back home in a few days. I hope you’ll enjoy these fun links in the meantime, have a wonderful long weekend, and forgive my lack of posting…

How about a road trip in one of these?
If I were to raise chickens…
Beautiful cut-paper invites.
Send someone a party in their mailbox!
So many things I love about this photo shoot.
I kind of wish I could sew and make my honey a love letter like this.
Sometimes eloping sounds just right.
A delightfully retro beach engagement shoot.
Happy weekend lovelies! I’ll be back soon!
Mood: a bit of garden charm on the beach
Palette: sand, shell, plum
Who says a beach wedding has to include sand dollars and seashells? Instead, incorporate elements like flowers, twine, and wicker furniture, and enjoy the romance of both the garden and the beach. I chose to use a palette of mostly sand and shades of plum, and I think the result is unexpected and lovely (if I do say so myself!).
One of the things I’m most excited about getting married is creating a new home with my future husband. And since my taste is often more expensive than my wallet allows, I was really happy to hear about One Kings Lane.
This exclusive online shop features limited quantities of highly-coveted home decor brands at bargain prices – up to 70% off! Plus, they’ve got an entire section devoted to designer tips and inspiration – perfect for those of us lamenting the loss of some of our favorite nesting magazines.
Be sure to sign up for the members-only site, and then check out the events they’ve got going on this week: Jardins en Fleur (my two favorite pieces are pictured above), Reed & Barton, Cote Bastide, Somma, Fatboy and others. Oh, and don’t miss their recent New York Times mention to learn even more about One Kings Lane and the two ladies behind it. Click HERE to join.
