Hello!Lucky was one of Snippet & Ink’s very first sponsors almost three years ago, and they continue to be one of my very favorite sources for wedding goodies. It’s probably no surprise that one of my favorite Hello!Lucky wedding invites is for a San Francisco wedding…

Don’t you love these destination save the date cards and destination wedding invitations? They come in a bunch of different colors for a bunch of different destinations, and I know I’d love to receive one as a guest. I’d frame the Hawaii save-the-date and hang it on my wall!

And I think every crafty bride out there would love Hello!Lucky’s new book, Handmade Weddings, coming out in January 2011 (engagement present, anyone?).

They offer other printed wedding items, from table numbers to menus (they even have charming playing cards designed for Eunice’s whimsical wedding), so no matter what you’re looking for, you should be able to find it at Hello!Lucky.

I love mixing outrageously bold colors with softer more romantic ones. Here, vermillion orange and pale blush pink make up a palette that’s both sweet and sexy – bold regency romance. Each element adds to the opulence: elaborate florals, satin shoes, rubies, truffles, and ostrich feathers.

Mood: Russian ballet meets Paris ballet
Palette: vermillion orange, blush pink, hints of gold

Top row from left: Vera Wang dress and red floral wallpaper from Martha Stewart Weddings, photo of pink Christian Louboutin shoes by Jose Villa, bouquet with orchids and maidenhair fern by Ariella Chezar
Row 2: champagne coupe glasses, bride with pink feather headband from Martha Stewart Weddings
Row 3: diamond and ruby earrings from Doyle & Doyle, dusted caramel truffles from Charbonnel et Walker, envelope with vintage stamps from Bari Zaki
Row 4: Palace Garden Court, orange and white salad plate by Royal Crown Derby from Martha Stewart Weddings, red canopy bed via The City Sage

Happy Friday, friends – I hope everyone had a wonderful week. My honey and I are entering into that phase of wedding planning where all the things that need to get done, need to get done. We found his suit at Ralph Lauren last weekend, and let me just say, he looks pretty darn handsome in it (and by pretty darn, I mean reeeally). And thank you to everyone for your suggestions of places to look. My mom and I went to Britex and found some gorgeous fabric for her mother-of-the-bride outfit, and then we went and tried on shoes (still looking for the right pair). Oh, and I got to visit our printer’s studio and see how the letterpress process works – I always loved letterpress, but seeing all the precision and time that goes into it gives me a whole new appreciation. Lots of wedding things happening! What about you? Where are you in your planning process?

Some great links for you from around the web this week:

Hi all! I know that many of you subscribe to Snippet & Ink through RSS, so you don’t get to see the sponsors on the sidebar – these are some the wonderful vendors who help to support this blog. Without them, there would be no Snippet & Ink! Some of them are longtime sponsors, and others are new, and they’re all wonderful. So I thought I’d bring them to your attention, in the hope that you’ll discover a fabulous vendor that was just what you were looking for.
