Two things you need to know about Em from Gem Photo: she’s a sweetheart who loves what she does, and she does a beautiful job of it. Case in point:
Does it get more gorgeous than that?

Here’s what Em has to say about her passion for wedding photography:  I love telling the stories of people on the best days of their lives – I feel so lucky to witness so much love! I love laughter, I am drawn to tears of joy, and I always end up on the dance floor. I became a wedding photographer because I wanted to create art that is not only beautiful, but that also reminds people that they are loved. I love capturing moments that make people smile and laugh and remember the good stuff.

This next one is by far one of my favorite wedding photos ever. Perfectly frame-able! (You may remember it from Candace and Rich’s darling wedding that I featured awhile ago – love it all!)

Em is a San Francisco wedding photographer, but she loves to travel, so if you love her work and you’re getting married somewhere else, give her a call! And if you want to see lots more of her beautiful work, check out her blog right here (and keep an eye out on Snippet & Ink, because we’re sure to be featuring more Gem Photo right here!).

This week I got to spend a couple days with my nephews – I took them to see The Muppets (can you believe these kids had never heard of Kermit the Frog?!), we went ice skating (not my greatest talent, let me tell you), and my sister and I stayed up late gabbing (one of my better talents for sure). Every time I leave I wish they lived closer. I’m talking to you, Abigail!

I hope you enjoyed this week’s holiday posts, and now for some weekend links!

Love this vintage photograph art.

Congratulations to Allegra on winning $125 toward Frances Palmer’s Pearl Collection. Allegra said: I love the Flower Luncheon Plates! So sweet. I can just imagine having brunch with my girlfriends on those. (with my husband cooking for us all!)

Have a happy weekend, lovelies! This weekend I’ll be attempting to finish up all of my Christmas to-do’s before we head out of town to spend the holiday with Ryan’s family. Will you be doing last minute Christmas shopping, too?
