Board #51 | The Apple of My Eye
Yesterday I posted a board based around one flower. Today’s board is based around another single element: apples. Apples are so charmingly rustic, and you can make them part of an equally rustic event, but they can also work perfectly at an elegant wedding: tiny candied apples passed by servers, as place cards with paper leaves, sugared as a cake decoration. I would also use a vintage apple crate label as inspiration for wedding stationery to keep the theme running throughout.
Mood: rustic elegance
Palette: apple colors (red, green, gold, brown), white

I love that you do a board everyday…what a fantastic idea! They are beautiful…
I’d love to do some boards myself…do you just use Photoshop canvas to paste your found images?
You are soooo good at this. Love the apple board. Love all the boards really…
I love looking at the colors and ideas…
Could you do one for me?: a weekend for friends and family in a summer camp in southern appalachian mountains in spring…natural, blues, greens, in season flowers, simple white dress. I’d like to see if you see the same thing as myself. Thx.
Viva – Yep! I use Photoshop to put the boards together.
Sarah Beth – I would be happy to put a board together for you. I’ve actually had a “summer camp” board in mind for a while. Keep an eye out for it next week.
K you’re so good! I love the apple board! Here’s my apple post:
