Give your summer wedding the laid back feel of a picnic with blue and white gingham. It might seem kitschy or even cheesy or cheap, but used well it can become utterly classic and tasteful. Don’t cover every table with the pattern; instead, pick one accent table to dress up in checks, and for the rest, stick with blue and white napkins on white tablecloths. Mini jars of Bonne Maman honey are the perfect favors to go with this motif, and you can find them for under $1.00 each. Tie a name tag around each one and they double as escort or place cards. I imagine lots of soft linen in blue and white, guests in gorgeous sun hats, and maybe a bluegrass or Dixieland jazz band to really create a easy, summer vibe.

Hey Kathryn, I just sent you an email on this, but in searching for an item used in one of your inspiration boards, I came across this site: which appears to be posting content from your blog word-for-word (I would assume without your permission?) You might send them a quick cease-and-desist (because that’s really not cool, even with the link at the bottom saying it came from here). Just wanted to give you a heads up!
