Hi folks! I’m posting Monday’s board a little early, because I have so much to do tomorrow… This week, all of my boards have been inspired by children’s books, and today it’s The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett. I loved this book (and the movie) as a kid, and after reading it, I would walk around parks and past houses with high hedges and imagine that somewhere there was a secret garden. I thought a garden wedding inspired by it would be just lovely. Something beautifully overgrown and romantic, with pale greens and pastels.
Mood: magical, intimate
Palette: celery, lilac

Using a child’s book for a wedding theme…what a creative idea!!Martha B.
Thank you for the board. I have always dreamed of a “Secret Garden” wedding ever since I saw the movie as a child. This was just the inspiration I needed.
