Board #162 | Late Summer Gold

The gorgeous and whimsical bouquet that Katie Duong created for her own wedding (featured in Martha Stewart Weddings) is the main point of inspiration for this wedding. The colors of late summer run throughout this inspiration board: browns, golds, barely-there blush and a hint of green.

Mood: soft summer light
Palette: gold, brown, blush

I had cut out her bouquet for my own inspiration notebook – that ribbon is amazing!!

I love the rustic feel to this board. I’m thinking I’m going to subtly introduce small bits orange into my color palette and these colors are so rich. I could see using some of these details.

Just the phrase “late summer gold” makes me eager for August. Lovely collection of color here.
