When I think tropical beach, I think lush greenery, rich dark woods, fruit and bright flowers. And of course, palm trees. This is one of those looks that can easily go casual and relaxed, with a short dress and tropical-weight wool, or more elegant and dressed up with ruffles and a tuxedo.
Mood: lush, tropical

Why am I so infatuated with vintage postcards? :-)
Take me away! Very inspiring.
Thanks for the mention! And a very pretty inspiration board. I actually just had a project to figure out a headpiece from just a picture of a dress and a Greek landscape: bonbonoiseaudesign.blogspot.com/2008/06/grecian-wedding.html
I LOVE this. It reminds me of your Fiji board (which I gave to my MOH as inspiration for my bridal shower). If you are looking for more of this kinds of decor: Hostess with Mostess did something similar with a more modern take: http://www.hostessblog.com/2008/06/hip-hostess-event-sneak-peek/
