Board #257 | Sweet Buttercream

I always love a sweet yellow wedding inspiration board, and this one may be my favorite yet. I love this pale yellow, buttercream yellow. What do you think of the idea of watering a young tree together, in lieu of a unity candle? I think it’s such a sweet idea, and then you could plant the tree in the yard of your first home…

Mood: sweet, light
Palette: pale butter yellow, cream

watering a young tree together… no. all unity ceremonies make me really uncomfortable, though.

I read about a wedding where a couple planted a tree together using a cup of soil from each of their childhood homes. I was thinking about doing something similar when we where going to get married at a botanical garden, for our “donation” to the garden. Unity candles are so overdone, but I wanted a little something more in my ceremony.

Those roses are gorgeous! And I love the picture of the bride and groom walking, they are good friends of mine! I just did a post on their wedding!
