Gold might be my new favorite accent color. It works with so many other colors – hot pink, peach, emerald green, red – and adds luxury to any palette. Inspired by the cover photo from the March 2006 issue of Domino, I’ve paired it with teal and white, and I think it’s a combination of colors that could work in winter, spring, or summer. Gold isn’t as neutral as gray or brown, and if you let it take over I imagine things could get pretty gaudy, but little flashes of gold? Mixed in with another color? Love it.

Gorgeous! I just LOVE teal and gold together! In fact, I posted about them a while back, but my inspiration board isn’t near what this is (I’m still working on my inspiration board skills…)! Anyway, loving this one — I hope you don’t mind if I talk about it on my blog!http://theblissfulbride.blogspot.com/2008/07/inspiration-teal-and-gold.html
This is so pretty :-)
This really goes well together! And that dress is to die for.
Sorry … I was trying to make the link nice for your readers! Our original idea of the ivory/white and gold colors started looking very 50th anniversary, and the ceiling of our reception hall was too perfect of an inspiration. It’s a bit darker than your teal color, but sapphire and gold are equally as lovely. http://tinyurl.com/6e8lne
I love this the colors are different and fresh, it beautiful.
how lovely! I’m usually not a gold person, but wee touches of it in against the teal looks v classy!
I like this color combination – a fresh pop of orange is a nice accent color here, too.
Oh I LOVE this board! It’s so warm and fresh!
this is really similar to my color scheme, except with some variations of turquoise and teal throughout. i’m in love with it! :)
