Vineyard weddings are so timeless and beautiful, yet I haven’t done very many vineyard inspiration boards. I thought I’d use one of my new favorite fall colors, aubergine, and use it in this formal, rustic vineyard wedding board. Grapes, violets, an intimate candlelit dinner. Change the floral and harvest elements slightly, and this venue and color scheme could work in any season.
Mood: formal, intimate, vineyard
Palette: grape purple, vine green

I’ve always loved the idea of a vineyard wedding – so romantic! Well done again, Kathryn!
Oh my dear, this causes me to long for a romantic New Years Eve at Blackstar Farms… Do check out their website for some VERY inspiring photos if you get a chance: http://blackstarfarms.com/More here: http://joeyrandall.blogspot.com/2008/10/following-wine-trail-black-star-farms.html

oooh the ring pillow and shoes are gorgeous…never a big fan of purple but here the color is just so rich and elegant!
So Beautiful! I want to hop a plane right now to Italy. It is just so romantic. This would be perfect for a wedding we are planning right now!
Ahh! This is perfection!
Ok, officially the most beautiful inspiration board I’ve ever seen. I LOVE THIS!
This is SO charming!!!
So beautiful! We considered having a vineyard wedding at first, before changing to a garden wedding, but I still think vineyard weddings are just gorgeous. And I’m also loving aubergine this season…
Love this one! I agree that aubergine is such a lovely color full of possibility—it can be mysterious and dramatic, warm and rustic, or outdoors sophisticated as you’ve done here. And I thought I recognized a Jenny Yoo dress in there! I ordered my bridesmaids’ gowns from there and I couldn’t have been more thrilled with how they turned out!
oh i loove this! we live out here in wine country (temecula) and it’s beautiful wine country, winter weather. amazing job as usual! thank yoU!
gorgeous! of course I’m a big fan of violets…love the card table with the deep purple pansies…wish my florist had thought of that
Ooh I can’t get enough of purple – this one is beautiful!
Ooh, this reminds me of that lovely old Laura Ashley grapevine pattern…
I love aubergine. It’s so funny how purple alone never really impresses me, but the aubergine tone, just a few shades darker, could be so dramatic and beautiful!
Ahhh! I’ve been combing your archives and pinning up a storm over your beautiful inspiration boards! Thank you so much! My fiance and I are going back to his home (Torino, Piedmont area) in 3 weeks to plan our wedding in October/November 2013. I’ve been waiting for an Italian-themed board. THIS IS IT!! Thanks!
