Board #88 | Jess’s Garden Wedding
Jess wrote me and requested a board with a color palette of ivory, black, and pale turquoise for her upcoming wedding in her grandmother’s garden. I love this color combination. It lends itself well to creating a retro/pop feel, without being too kitschy. I also really like the way the garden setting softens it and keeps it from being overly dramatic (sometimes black can be a little much, but other times it add just the right contrast, like here!).
Mood: new classic
Palette: black, turquoise, ivory

Row 3: flowers from MS, photo from Brides, photo from Jose Villa, parasols from Brides
Row 4: invitation from The Happy Envelope, seating cards from Liz Linder, cake from In Style
This is a beautiful color scheme. I love the black with the blue…a departure from so much brown.
I love the colors and even though this has been done plenty of times before, your board brings a freshness to this color scheme.
i LOVE IT! thank you so so so much! :)
