Palette: yellow saffron cream, cool white marble, rich blue italian plum

Even though navy blue and yellow usually make for a classically preppy combination, I love how unexpected they look here – sort of romantic and modern. For a wedding, I imagine this color board translating to rich blue linens, arrangements of white and saturated yellow flowers, and perhaps some accents of gold and gray. What about you? Could you see this as a wedding palette? Or what about a room in your home?

Ah! This is the exact palette of my November wedding. Working now to find the right mix of saffron and navy to avoid the summer prep look.
Love this palette! It’s so chic and elegant ;)
I already picked out a similar color palette! Thanks for the inspiration on how to keep saffron and “italian plum” from looking too preppy! :) Thanks Kathryn. I love your blog
