Can you believe this is the 400th board that I’ve posted? Honestly, I think it’s absolutely crazy. Though there are times when I’ll revisit a previous theme or palette, I hope that you feel inspired in some way every time you visit Snippet & Ink. So, for my 400th trick… a retro cool wedding in the desert of the Old West.

What is it that has me posting two carnival inspiration boards in a row? All I can say is that it’s summer, it’s hot, and I think everyone can use a dose of fun no matter what. Stripes seem to be a recurrent theme this week, as well – maybe they’re the new damask, which would be alright by me! Oh, and how about these cute dresses for your flower girls?

Inspiration boards are back! It feels like forever since I posted one of these! Thank you so much for your patience and understanding last week – I can’t tell you how much it means. Hopefully the moments of total meltdown and anxiety and self-doubt (agh!) will be few and far between from here on out. And now, on with the inspiration…

The other title I was considering for this inspiration board was “A Perfect Match” – I guess that will have to wait until my next tennis inspired wedding board. Green and white stripes slowly turned into a tennis-themed wedding – something playful and preppy, and totally appropriate since Wimbledon is happening right now. And though there is certainly a tennis aspect to today’s inspiration board, I don’t think it’s overly theme-y and cheesy. Are you incorporating a hobby or interest into your wedding?

Have you guessed by now that I absolutely adore vintage elements in a wedding? And picnics? Oh gosh I love picnics! I love that they require simplicity, and that they can be super casual or gourmet and elegant – and everything in between! I really hope you’re not bored of vintage and picnics, because this is certainly not the last you’ll see of them on Snippet & Ink!
