Today’s pretty at-home wedding was sent over by Michael Ash – again, lovely evidence that simplicity is a beautiful way to go. Abbey’s home has been in her family for six generations and is on a beautiful property in Chester County, Pennsylvania, so hosting the reception there was pretty much a no brainer. Says the bride, “It was so convenient and fun to have the reception venue at your fingertips at all times.”
Instead of cut flowers, centerpieces were wooden planter boxes filled with potted flowers.
Origami paper cranes were a nod to the bride’s Japanese heritage.
Favorite moments? “Crowd-surfing to Sandstorm by Darude with my bride by my side,” says Ben. “I think a star was born when we kissed.” For Abbey, ”I loved the entire ceremony. My immediate and extended family were all very involved and it was so special for me.”
Congratulations, newlyweds!
