Gorgeous Gowns from Helena Mareque

Ever since Spanish designer, Helena Mareque, appeared on my radar I’ve been itching to share her gorgeous wedding gowns with you. High necks, sleeves, subtle embellishments – they’re all just so romantic! The amazing veils her brides choose to wear are equally stunning. See for yourself…

After the royal wedding, I imagine we’ll be seeing lots more long-sleeved wedding gowns…

I cannot get over the sheer golden sleeves on this next one…

Helena’s website is under construction, but for now you can see more of her work at her blog, Ejercicios de Estilo. It might be in Spanish, but the photos certainly don’t need translating!

  • True beauties of dresses, especially love the cap sleeved French empire number, very modern Jane Austenesque (which is a very good thing). Will be hawking her website!

  • Oh, I do hope dresses with sleeves make a come back. I had such a hard time finding a dress with sleeves, and eventually had one made. And these veils are amazing ~ they remind me of mine, which my mother also wore ~ an antique Spanish mantilla.

  • MeitsMo says:

WOW! Thank you so much for sharing! I am going with short sleeves and have wanted to do a sparkly sheer overlay, and those final sleeves are such inspiration! Your the best :)!

  • Fantastic dresses. Really like these comments too, I have to agree with most of them. Keep up the good work.
