There is no doubt that I love the details that go into a wedding. I think personal and thoughtful details are what makes one wedding unique from another. At the same time, I am pretty turned off by the idea of trying to out-do celebrities and using a wedding as a means of showing off, as though that one day is more important than the lifetime after it. A simple backyard wedding with lovely details and close friends and family can be just as beautiful and meaningful – if not more so! – than the most over-the-top event. I think this board, with various shades of green and brown, could work well from March to September. If you wanted to go with a larger, more formal wedding, this would also make for a great rehearsal dinner.

Mood: intimate, casual
Palette: olive, white, hints of blue
