Usually when I think of Hawaii, I think of beaches, but Julie and Narendra’s stunning wedding was held on the Big Island of Hawaii at 3000 feet above sea level, at a private ranch. The venue, the colors, the intimate guest list of 60 – this truly was a wedding in paradise.
Julie embellished her dress with a diamond brooch that belonged to Narendra’s grandmother.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails and refreshments at small tables. The space was decorated with turquoise umbrellas.
The bride and groom and their guests posed for photos in traditional Hawaiian leis.
Specialty cocktails included Mauna Lani Punch, Mai Tai the Knot, Lava Flow, Kohala Sunset, and a Turtle Tini.
The colors, flowers, and tropical fruits decorating the tables reflected the Hawaiian landscape. Guests were served individual passion fruit cakes that matched the larger cutting cake.
