Day two of the wedding weekend started with a mehndi party for all the ladies.

As with the western ceremony on, the Hindu ceremony took place under a starry tent, draped over one of the garden’s water features.

Says the bride: “We wanted to mix two styles, one for each day – we wanted an elegant English countryside feel set against a second day of color and festivities of a summer Hindu wedding.”
