When Meg Smith and Ariella Chezar team up, you know the results are going to be gorgeous, which is exactly the word I’d use to describe this tropical photo shoot…

How incredible is this bouquet? It almost looks as though it grew together like this in the rainforest.

Don’t you just love the use of fruit here? I think it adds so much richness to the table. And now I’m dreaming of Hawaii…

I bought the shoes at Tamara Catz, a fantastic store on Maui. Our lovely model Jill wore the same size as me and I knew I would wear those sandals again!

Thanks to Ariella for the stunning flowers and design, Jill for being such a great model and interrupting her vacation, Liz for the gorgeous hair and makeup, and Brittney at Tamara Catz for all her help with the dresses. And to Sylvia, thank you for the incredible setting. And of course thank you lovely Kathryn for sharing this with your readers and putting it together so elegantly!

Aaah, memories! I got married there in 2008, waaaaaay before it was well known and trendy. How it’s changed…but still ever so romantic. Thanks for bringing me back, Kat.
