Happy Weekend!
One of the best parts of being back in the Bay Area is getting to hang out with my very best friends in the whole world – girls that I’ve known since I was fourteen, who have seen me through thick and thin, and who make me laugh until my face hurts. We all went away for college and other adventures, but now we’re back in the same place and we’ve implemented a monthly brunch get-together. This weekend it’s my turn to host! I have a few ideas of what I’d like to serve, but I’m always open to suggestions – any favorite brunch recipes?
And then of course it’s Valentine’s Day next week! I’m hoping my day will involve chocolate and kisses…
Noteslate? Um, AWESOME.
I’m not sure what exactly is happening in this photo, but it sure is pretty.
Navy blue ombré… GORgeous…

This sequin sweater dress wants to live in my closet. When I’m not wearing it of course.
Just engaged? Real Simple sent me a copy of their 2011 Weddings, and I think it’s a great place to start.
Have a happy weekend kids!

These bacon wrapped eggs with cream and arugula are delicious and relatively easy to prepare right before everyone arrives, and then you just pop the in the oven and serve!

I loved the Post Office article!!
“I refuse to call it snail mail, which I feel insults its seniority and primacy and bolsters the fiction that e-mail is mail at all and not a form of digital rain.”
The whole thing was so well-written. Thanks for sharing!
MAKE TAZA’S PUFFY PANCAKES. Omg they are amazing and people are always so impressed by them! http://taza-and-husband.blogspot.com/2010/02/our-weekend-snowed-in-walks-around.html (The recipe is in the comment section)
I had exactly the same thought about that clock. So cute.
Chocolate chip banana bread – serve warm. To die for and the easiest banana bread ever.
