It has been such a treat for me to revisit my wedding this week – thank you so much for all of your kind words about everything! Since my sister is here for the weekend before she leaves for 6 months in France, I thought I’d end the week with this photo of us at the wedding opening the Christmas crackers. I feel so lucky to have her as my best friend (especially since I wasn’t always the nicest big sister growing up), and I’m so excited for her French pastry school adventure. Our grandmother is turning 101 on Saturday, so we’ll be spending the day celebrating with her and our extended family, which is always a good time. What about you? What are your weekend plans? If you’re in the Bay Area, how much are you loving this gorgeous weather?!

Yes, I love the weather! Have been driving with my sun roof open and windows down for the past few days and listening to the Beach Boys, of all things! It’s been that kind of weather.

I want to use Christmas crackers at my wedding as the place cards and then before dinner have everyone crack one open!! (im getting married in September) I have so many fond memories of crackers at the holidays and want to incorporate them in my wedding! did you have a certain site that you used? That aren’t Christmas themed

Loved each and every one of this week’s postings! Thanks so much for sharing all the fun and beauty from your special day. I’m sure it was a bit nerve-wracking putting all of that out there, but all the photos and descriptions were truly, truly lovely. Great job.

Can’t wait to see more of your wedding!! Everything was gorgeous! I’m getting married at the Newland Barn in Huntington Beach, CA in May. The inside of the barn is like a white-walled, white-floored recreation room. If you could suggest some DIY things we could do or some vendors who could help us transform that space we would be so grateful!
