Happy Weekend!

Ever have one of those weeks where you feel like you’ve had the wind knocked out of you? Kicking things off with the Sad Mac, followed by a car in the shop and a broken RSS feed (how does that even happen?), this was definitely one of those weeks for me. Needless to say, I’m looking forward to a weekend with my honey, keeping my fingers crossed that the broken things get fixed.

Instead of a list of links, I just have this love story for you, via A Cup of Jo. It makes me teary-eyed in the very best way.

Have a happy, happy weekend everyone!

  • Looks like the OLD RSS Feed URL is working again. Had to fiddle with a little code, but got it to work. :-). Loving the posts on here Kathryn!

my husband showed me this a couple of weeks ago… I sat in his lap and cried… and the saw he was teary-eyed too. It’s so rare for him to tear up!
It’s wonderful, heart-breaking and so full of love.

A great reminder to me as I plan my wedding this year of the real reason for our wedding. It’s not about my dress the flowers the cake the music, etc. It’s about our love and the vows we take, for better or worse, til death do us part. What a great example Annie and her love were of this!

  • gaaahhh i just did my make up for a night out and i’m crying. thank you for sharing. i love this and i can’t wait to be married.

  • This is one of the most sweetest videos I’ve seen in my life. Hope I’ll have the same passion for my dear husband as Annie does. My love goes to you and hope for a better health in days to come.

As some days pass into ours and our routine takes us out of the romantic side, my husband and I sat still for a moment and watched this video. It made us pop in our wedding video 2 years ago and remember why we came together.

Thank you Danny & Annie for teaching us all a lesson, it is and will always be about love.

  • Thanks for sharing. One of my clients sent me this a few weeks ago and I had it up on facebook. It is such a sweet and heartbreaking story. Of course we love to have all the pretty little things in a wedding but with this is really what it’s all about. I could watch it over and over… just need a box of kleenex.

Yep, I cried. *sigh* it was a good reminder of keeping the main thing, the main thing. Just being with my honey is enough.
