Kate and Brett’s Kate Spade-inspired wedding is just too fun! Gold sequins and confetti tie together the bright and colorful palette…
Says Kate: My favorite moment of the day was walking into the courtyard toward Brett and our guests. It was a reminder of what the day was about. I was just so happy – happy to see Brett and all of the people who have been there for us.
Invitations were chosen by the groom from Minted, and the rest of the printed items were designed and printed by the bride. In lieu of a guest book, the couple asked their friends and family to write on little cards with prompts: Advice for the newlyweds…, Favorite moment with the bride and groom…, and Where do you see us in 25 years…

wow, not gonna lie, this is probably one of my favorite weddings as far as decor, etc. so so pretty!!
hi there. such a pretty, classic wedding. any info on the bride’s bracelet? i’d love something similar!
Hi Jenn –
The bracelet was my “something borrowed” – a fabulous piece from J.Crew!
Loved seeing this wedding. It is so simple and elegant. Proof that you don’t have to go overboard on details to make your wedding lovely. A few classic touches and a dash of confetti and voila – gorgeous and timeless.
I LOVE this! I’m a huge Kate Spade fan!
How long ago did you get that Kate spade purse, it’s stunning and I’d love to find it for my wedding. It’s not online.. booo
Carly – I bought it over the holidays after it went on sale on the Kate Spade site. Google “Kate Spade Twirl Margie Gold Evening Bag Clutch”…you may be able to snatch it off of ebay :)
any advice on creating the “guestbook” cards for people to write on? Thanks! Beautiful wedding!
Alex – I used a mailing label template on Word and used a font that matched the theme.I chose promptings that I thought would spark a memory, funny story, or fun remark from my friends and family…The responses we got from “Where do you see us in 25 years” were priceless!
You can buy cardstock in different textures (make sure people can write on it) and colors at Michaels in 8×11 and use your home printer. I cut out the cards at kinkos.
Depending on what you want to do with them afterwards, you can buy small envelopes for guests to put them in and cut the paper to size. I had a vase on the table to drop the notes in. Today they are in a stack, tied with gold ribbon and sitting on my side table for a good read whenever we so desire ;)
I’m loving the bits of sequins that add just the right amount of pizazz. So adorable!
Such pretty gold touches. Hey, I see palm trees — where did this wedding take place? Pretty setting.
so pretty! I love the clean lines and pops of color that is kate spade. I have to say that my favorite thing about this wedding is the gold confetti!
