You guys are so patient… I promise this wedding was worth the wait. Paper chains and a disco ball? I know, awesome. Sarah and Michael wanted a wedding that was fun, in a style that was both organic and modern, and she chose vendors that definitely delivered on that, from design by Bash, Please to music by The Flashdance. Sarah’s advice for having an awesome wedding?
With her Vera Wang dress, Sarah wore beaded shoes purchased at a market in Israel. Her bridesmaids wore sparkly silver TOMS.
Ceremony programs doubled as fans to keep guests cool at the August wedding.
Paper chains were used all around the venue, from the ceremony to the Smilebooth to the bride’s and groom’s chairs.
The walls were hand-painted with an e.e. cummings poem, a modern wedding monogram, hearts, stripes… such a fun and unexpected decorative element!

The blush colors and flowers are amazing!
LOVE!
Beautiful Wedding dress, this is the exact one I want! This wedding just spoke to me. Another weird thing…I just did very similar flowers for an event last week.
Loved it.
Worth the wait is right (wink),

This wedding is perfect! I love the colors, and the sparkly TOMS idea is so cute! That poem backdrop is also really cool.
So despite its involvement in a Cameron Diaz movie, I’m totally including that e.e. cummings poem as a reading in my ceremony. I love seeing it up on the wall like that, so beautiful!
My favorite picture is the one with the dresses all hanging next to the “Be Calm” print. It seems like it should be the calm before the storm, but the rest of the pictures are so breezy and serene that it just doesn’t fit. So lovely!
What a gorgeous wedding. Love the photographs.

It was a Party of Love – all around!
The Spirit was the Foundation of the Entire Weekend – perfecto.
Loved those Chocolate Cake Lollipops the most, almost as much as the Bride & Groom
seriously beautiful wedding. love the team behind it!
I LOVE this. Looks elegant but not fussy at all, modern but timeless, and fun!
ohmygoodness. i adore this. the peom? both of the bride’s dresses? the all blond bridesmaids? such a dream. so perfect.
I’m obsessed with the bride’s hair piece and bird cage veil. It’s exactly what I’m looking for for my wedding. Any idea where she got it from? Thanks!
Oh my goodness. This is a fantastic event! The couple looks confident and happy with their decision and this is quite possibly the most beautiful display/collection of flowers that I’ve ever seen. And I need to know who is responsible for hand-lettering that wall. Wow. xo
The wedding is perfectly styled and the couple looks relaxed and joyful <3 Beautiful floral arrangements!
It’s just too perfect for words. I wish my venue would have let me paint on the walls!
Those flowers are stunning! Oh my…
I adored this wedding as soon as I saw it in C Magazine and was left yearning for more. So, thanks for giving us the full view, Kathryn! :)
EEEk!! I LOOOOVE the poem wall.
I love what the bride said. It’s so true… nothing ruins a mood more than a me me me me attitude by the bride and groom… and nothing elevates a wedding like a sense of graciousness and love from your hosts. It’s like night and day at an event.
absolutely love the spot the ceremony took place in.I understand it was a privat garden? or am i wrong? All the same the photos from the garden are my personal best. Beautiful wedding, compliments! Congratualtions fro the happy couple and thanks for sharing!
Wow this wedding looks amazing. The pictures make me wish I were there. Thanks for posting it!
I love that poem on the wall, it’s so romatic and looks amazing it the pictures! Can’t wait to share, thanks!
When you first mentioned paper chains in your intro, my first thought was “Oh no! What were they thinking?!” But as soon as I saw the picture, I did a 180. They look incredible! So whimsical…I LOVE the way they were draped on that wall!
Agree with Kelsey above– the headpiece is stunning. Where is it from?
the wedding of the decade. the bride and groom set the pace and you could feel all the love around us. the flowers were outstanding such a wonderful array of colors and varies type of flowers. love the chain garland.
I love the image of the bride and groom dancing, the chandelier’s shadow pattern across the dress looks fantastic!
I know I’m over a year late but this is a gorgeous wedding! (just found via pinterest). I absoulutely love how they incoporated the poem but how on earth did they get approval to paint AND write on a wall!? Can’t imagine anywhere in the UK would ever let you do that, shame really!
