We finally had some weather here this weekend – since we don’t really get fall leaves here in the Bay Area, you know the seasons are changing when it’s overcast and raining all day. Not nearly as romantic or charming as a crisp, sunny autumn day with flaming leaves, which is where this inspiration board is coming from. It’s why October was my favorite time in Wisconsin! A cozy white farmhouse surrounded by orange and red leaves, decorated with pumpkins and acorns. Set the table with country linens and arrange flowers in white compotes and pitchers. Fill a table with seasonal desserts like apple cheddar pie and caramel pear tarts, and send your guests home with jars of local jam (this might be a really common wedding favor, but it’s still one of my favorites – for out of town guests, it’s a nice souvenir of their visit, and everyone likes an edible favor).
