From Spencer to Anne:

Anne I would first like to take a moment and acknowledge how beautiful you look today. I know this is nothing new to you, but you are drop dead gorgeous. Or as some of my friends like to mention, “Spencer, you are fighting above your weight-class”. To me, your looks do not compare to your personality and your heart. You are the strongest, most independent person I know and that is what I find most attractive about you. Over time, I have learned so much from you. You have taught me how to love unconditionally, you have taught me how to be more responsible and you have made me more determined to do great things in this world and for that I love you!

In five days will be our 7-year anniversary. Our journey has had many stops, bumps and bruises along the way, that you and I have conquered and overcome together. One of those moments led me to write this about you. “The chill over my body gives me the indescribable excitement to see the one thing that has always made sense to me. This creature is a extremely rare. Eyes that can numb your entire body. Lips softer than a summer peach. Hair that flows with Mother Nature. These features are just the beginning of perfection. The real beauty lies in the heart of this creature. Her heart illuminates with every laugh, smile, and tear. Describing this beautiful creature does give justice. Only a little bit longer and the warmth of our bodies will finally be united.” Anne, you have always been the one and you will always be the one. I love you with all of my heart and I cannot wait to spend every single waking second with you for the rest of our lives.

From Anne to Spencer:

Spencer – after the craziness that’s been the past year and a half; it’s now that I am the calmest. I think we were both blind sided by the love we felt so naturally so fast and so young; you always say you knew I was the one immediately. It wasn’t long before I caught on; not only because of your impressive dance moves in Madrid but because everything is better with you. From arguing about where the coffee table goes or memorizing inappropriate rap lyrics there is no one I would rather do it with then you. Life is most fun lived with you. To think the past seven years is only the beginning makes more me so much more excited to begin this journey with you. I will strive every day to make sure you feel as loved as you make me, as encouraged, supported, and valued. I will do my best to mirror your incredibly loving nature and possibly even learn to make pancakes one day. Loving you is easy because you live life with an open heart. You make everyone around you feel special and treasured and I can’t believe how lucky I am to share the rest of my life with you; I am even more thankful that I get to start a family with you. You truly are the prince charming to my princess. As we stand here making this commitment, I know more then anything else that you are the one, the one I kiss goodnight each night, say hello to every morning, and miss when you are out of the room even a minute. I loved you then, I love you now, and promise I to love you forever.
