Gosh you guys – I can’t say thank you enough for all of the pep comments and support from you this week. Just a few days away has been really good for me to de-stress and remember what the wedding is all about. If you’re feeling at all overwhelmed or like you need a reality check, I definitely recommend spending some time over at A Practical Wedding. I don’t know that I’ll be able to plan my wedding without it. Of course, I still love all the pretties too… ;)
The delightful wedding of Laura and Ben.
A carnival wedding just in time for summer.
Is it really a birdcage veil without a bird?
Myra is making garters!
Two talented ladies, here and here.
Perfectly imperfect calligraphy.
Love these ties, via simplesong.
I love balloons, but I love ribbons too.
Have a happy happy weekend lovelies! And remember that if you’re going crazy with wedding planning, it’s okay to unplug for a bit!
Hello lovelies! Thank you so much for all of your understanding and kind words about my little rant post the other day – and I’m so glad to know that I’m not the only one who’s felt that way! I’ve been trying my hardest to get some inspiration boards put together for you, but they’re just not coming together right now. I guess I needed a bit more of a break from weddings than I originally thought. So, instead of an inspiration board, I thought I’d share with you some of the things that are inspiring me right now…
The first real wedding I ever posted.
An airstream vacation.
Vintage botany illustrations.
Baby hedgehogs – so cute!
Silverware garden markers.
Up, up and away!
Whimsical paper ships.
I hope these inspire you too! And if there is anything that’s really inspiring you today, feel free to leave a link in the comments. Have a beautiful Wednesday!
I love the way that brides today can use the internet to connect with people – to get advice from other brides or wedding professionals, or to sell a dress that didn’t work out, or to buy a previously-owned veil or find deals on favors. And that’s what BravoBride is all about! It’s an online marketplace where brides, newlyweds and bridal boutiques can buy and sell new and pre-owned wedding items, from designer wedding gowns to jewelry to reception decorations.
In addition to all of this, BravoBride also offers a forum for brides to chat, and to give and get advice from one another, and a new blog where you can read wedding tips and learn about special promotions from wedding vendors. If you’re looking for good deals, or if you want to sell some of the items from your own wedding, be sure to check out BravoBride!
