I’m such a fan of stripes, and they’re a perfectly preppy pattern to include in a wedding day design. Here, a mostly neutral background is accented with pops of red in the form of striped papers and perhaps a striped table runner. A silkscreened map invitation sets the tone for a low-key destination wedding – perfect for summer, I think! Though this invitation suite would work beautifully, too, for the wedding I’ve imagined here. Glass bowls and jars filled with sand and seashells make for beach-appropriate DIY decor, and ice cream cones add to the playful summer vibe.

I also would LOVE to know who designed the third photo dress. The link to Amelia Lyons site isn’t directly linked to the photo, so I couldn’t find it there!

The dress was designed by Heidi, the bride. She’s a friend of mine. The lady who made it, Melissa Blackburn, lives in Utah. Isn’t it beautiful? She used J. Crew jewelry (and similar pieces and styles, but mostly from J. Crew) to make the neck decor.

I just got married in May! My wedding was red and white. The stripped fabric in the picture, was actually the pabric I used as my table runners :) The colors turned out great together :)
