Ali and David’s intimate and easy going wedding seemed like a nice way to close the week. Immediate family and two close friends joined the couple for their Southern California celebration. Says the bride:
Our wedding ceremony was sweet and intimate with just our immediate family, a best man and maid of honor at the Self Realization Fellowship Hermitage & Meditation Garden in Encinitas, California. We have visited the hermitage together for the last four summers—meditating in breathtaking gardens on the seaside bluff overlooking the vast Pacific and finding great inspiration, inner peace, and a deep love for one another. We could think of no better place to get married!
After the ceremony, as the sun set, we enjoyed a special dinner in a private cabana at Kitchen 1540, located at the exquisite L’Auberge Hotel in Del Mar. The dinner was divine and the wine was even better! We chose a meal from their fabulous organic and sustainable menu to be served for dinner.
We had a white cake with chocolate ganache, covered in fondant icing with a super adorable custom cake topper by Petal and Print.

I am so happy to see a bride with natural tan lines! I got married in September and faced a predicament: I didn’t want to limit my summer fun, but I’m not a fan of artificial tans. Au natural is the way to go :)
