Gorgeous Indian Wedding Film :: Neda & Sati

As much as I love all of the pretty little details that go into a wedding (love them), few things inspire me more than wedding photos and movies where you can really see how much the couple loves one another – where you can get a sense of the joy in the day. That’s why Neda and Sati’s incredible wedding film is what’s inspiring me today. It is utterly joyful.

Now what if I tell you this is the first wedding film by Rob, Jesse and Nick, the team at Cherish Films and Sandbox Love. No really – this is their first wedding film. Rob’s story is inspiring in its own right – he left a successful job in the advertising industry to follow his heart, to tell beautiful love stories. What could be better than that?

Congratulations, Neda and Sati! Thank you for sharing your beautiful wedding with us, and thank you so much to Sandbox Love and Cherish Films for sending over this incredible film – I can’t wait to see what you’ve got in store.

  • Pennie says:

Wow–what an amazing film and beautiful story! Thanks for sharing this. There's nothing like starting off your day with a good cry!!

  • lauren says:

this video singlehandedly made me want to know these people and made me wish i was indian! what a beautiful wedding and a beautiful couple!

  • David says:

    Very cool and very intimate.
Would you know if the filming was intrusive?

  • Sarah says:

Tears, Kathryn! Tears! First thing in the morning! Their Love Story on the Cherish Films website is even better.

  • Angela says:

OMG! I live in San Diego and I remember seeing this on the news and I thought the exact same thing the news lady said at the end, when I saw it on the news. I was like "OOOH! AN ELEPHANT IN DOWNTOWN!" and then I was like "OOOH! THE COUPLE IS GORGEOUS!" I cannot believe that this was Cherish Films first wedding…that video would have NEVER made you think that. What a great job!

  • Rachel E. says:

Y'know, usually when wedding bloggers put up a video and they say stuff like 'This will bring a tear to your eye' or 'This is so moving', I often find myself disagreeing.

That is SO not the case with this one! This is an amazingly well done wedding video. The love and the story is allowed to shine through, and yet it's never dull. And that couple is HOT.

  • Angie says:

OMG, I just got engaged and completely love the idea of a film. Thanks for also mentioning the name of the company that produced it. Sorry, I am in full "I'm getting married" mode! I wish I am that happy and have that much fun on my big day!

  • Sami says:

oh my gosh…this was perfect timing. I am traveling to India next week for a month and have been doing a lot of research on Indian tradition and wedding ceremonies. I sobbed through this whole thing. I know how amazing and passionate the Indian people are but this was a true testiment. Thank you for sharing!

  • Sati Hillyer says:

They were not intrusive at all. It's like you didn't even know they were there. Seeing the end result was so much fun because we got to relive so many moments when you didn't even think they were filming.

One word comes to mind when you work with Cherish Films…WOW. You won't go wrong with these guys.

  • Ingrid Nelson says:

Absolutely beautiful! on so many levels….A wonderful story to start the morning.

  • Neda says:

First, I have to thank everyone for the very nice comments! :)

I’ve also got to back up what my new hubby said regarding the intrusiveness… or lack of. Rob and his team were literally shooting our wedding for 8-9 days straight, and never did we feel that they or their cameras were disturbing in any way. To quote a lot of our guests, “We didn’t even notice they were there anymore.” But as you can see, Rob and his team never failed to capture every single moment throughout the week.

Cherish Films will not let you down… you have my word.

    Neda (bride)

  • Aliza Werner says:

  • Cait says:

My friends and I have gotten wedding fever lately (even though none of us are engaged or plan to be any time soon, haha), and this just sent me over the edge! I forwarded it straight to them and I hope they love it as much as I did. It's beautiful!

  • Raji Barbir says:

This video is UNREAL!!!… I'm really blown away by these guys. Terrific work!

I can not say enough how much I enjoyed watching this video. the love and pure joy of this couple, and all of their guests was palpable. It really made me reminisce about my wedding day, and want to do it allover again, but with a dynamic wedding film like this!!

My own Pakistani-American wedding will have a lot to live up to after this, as does my photographer!

  • Lizzie says:

What an inspiring story! I loved this video and this couple will have this forever to remember! Thanks for sharing.

  • Elsja says:

OMG… this video alone makes me wish I had a bigger budget. Why can't I be the bride with rich parents who will pay for anything? I didn't even care about video before because they all are so cheesy, but this is just amazing.

  • Kaylen says:

I love that while this wedding clearly cost a pretty penny, the couple and the wedding seem invested in all of the right things; love, family, tradition, and the joining together of two people who seem very down to earth and so well loved by all the people who got to be a part of the wedding events. Rob did a great job featuring all of the wonderfully decadent details, but the star of the film was always the couple's love for each other and I think that's beautiful. Too many times the "event" becomes bigger than the marriage and you remember the details instead of the couple. This is soooo not that way. Bravo to Cherish films for making a video that total strangers on the Internet can watch and feel like they have a glimpse of who these people are and makes us want to know them. I can't imagine how special this is for the people who actually do! :)

  • kate reymann says:

Wow. My jaw is on the floor and I have tears in my eyes. That was absolutely incredible.

  • maggie says:

Gorgeous film! Beautiful couple! A wonderfully happy celebration – thank you for sharing :)

  • Emma says:

Her mothers words were amazing …beautiful, inspiring and fun a perfect wedding film

  • Sarah says:

this video is amazing! it was both beautiful and captured both the love of the couple, and the love that was evidently present from their families and friends during the celebration. it made me teary-eyed!

  • The Wedding Maverick says:

I am blown away! Such a gorgeous couple and an absolutely stunning wedding. I can't believe this the first wedding film for Cherish Films! Talk about natural talent! BRAVO!
