Here is the second inspiration board I made when I did a couple guest posts for 100 Layer Cake earlier this year, so you may or may not have seen it already. But either way, I hope you enjoy it!

Last year, when coco+kelley asked me to make some color predictions, one of my palette picks was deep red and peach. I don’t know how successful my prediction was, but I sure do love the look, and I’ve been meaning to create an inspiration board with it ever since. Romantic without being overly sweet, and sophisticated without being too serious. And that cake is one of my very favorite things ever!

Mood: rich autumn sophistication
Palette: cranberry-apple red, rosy peach, buttercream

Top row from left: buttercream cake with late summer fruit from Martha Stewart Weddings, photo of red sweater and pin curls by Amanda Pratt, photo of Max Gill bouquet by Meg Smith
Row 2: peach garden rose via Automatism, photo of red shoes by Elizabeth Messina
Row 3: centerpiece with red dahlias by Ariella Chezar (photo by Meg Smith), vintage silverware from Napa Style, Karmann Ghia photo by Polly Alexandre
Row 4: envelope with red calligraphy and vintage stamps from Martha Stewart Weddings, red apple photo by Karen Wise, centerpiece with peach roses and pomegranates from Martha Stewart Weddings

What a fun job…predicting color palettes! :) Love that invite suite/postage–that is why I always pick out fun stamps at the post office…it will make SOMEONE’s day! Beautiful board…very inpsiring. It evokes a sunny November day wedding in Sausalito (why Karman Ghia evokes Sausalito I cannot say…lol).
