Board #348 | Ink & Peony

Barely-there pink often comes across as saccharine and girlish, but when paired with almost-black, ink blue it is moody and mysteriously romantic. This wedding board was largely inspired by Kari Herer’s gorgeous photo of peonies – if you haven’t seen her work, you must stop by her Etsy store – and the photo of blackberries and figs echo the colors perfectly. I’d love to see a bedroom based on this palette…

Mood: moody, romantic
Palette: inky midnight blue, soft pale pink
