Real Wedding: Hannon & Cameron

It has been way too long since A Bryan Photo stopped by with one of their awesome weddings! So in case you don’t already know, these guys are on my short list of very favorite photographers, and I have a feeling Hannon and Cameron would agree with me. The A Bryan Photo team loves what they do, and it shows.

Bridesmaids each chose their own gray dress – love the mix!

I love this special detail about Hannon’s bouquet: “Cameron’s mother planted the ivy from her wedding bouquet many years ago, and gave me a piece to carry in my bouquet.”

Says Hannon, “We choose The Stables at Russell Crossroads because I loved the unique design of the barn. It was the perfect combination for us, but I was adamant about having a fresh and clean feel at our “barn wedding” because I feel like rustic weddings have been a bit over done here in the past few years. Mixing clean lines with antiques, and neutrals with pastels, created the clean, soft look we wanted.”

I think this goes without saying, but weddings are made up of moments like these…

Hannon kindly shared some details about the day with us…

Why did you choose this location for your wedding?  Lake Martin is a special place for Cameron and me. My family has a lake home there and I grew up going there on weekends and Cameron is an avid outdoors man so the natural setting was a perfect fit for him.

What was your favorite moment or part of the day?  I have so many favorite moments from the wedding reception.  I normally steer away from the spotlight, but when you’re a bride the only option you have is to embrace it. So, finding myself on stage with my bridesmaids, sisters, and nieces dancing with tambourines was such a fun moment. My favorite part of the day has to be afternoon spent relaxing at my lake house with family and friends. It was such a blessing to be able to sit and enjoy the excitement with those loved ones I don’t get to see often.

What was the best advice you received as a bride? What advice do you have for other brides?  The best advice I received as a bride was to slow down and take the day in because everything happens so fast, and before you know it the night is over. My advice for other brides is to hire a wedding planner. I lucked out because my sister owns a wedding planning business, Mariee Ami. Having a wedding planner to keep up with all of the details allowed me to actually enjoy the planning process!

Stop by in a bit for more of the beautiful stationery details from Hannon and Cameron’s wedding, and see lots more photos from the day over at A Bryan Photo.
