You’ve probably seen photos from Lanie and Matt’s gorgeous winter wedding around the interwebs, but I couldn’t help sharing it with you here. The couple lucked out with a beautiful January day in Colorado, full of incredible details from the talented Lisa Vorce (and stunning photos by Aaron Delesie).
Lanie had long sleeves added to her Vera Wang dress, perfect for a snowy winter wedding. Little welcome bags included a note from the couple, pure vanilla extract, and the recipe for Matt’s father’s pancake recipe.
A candy buffet included chocolates and caramels, which guests could take home in little paper bags. There were also small glass bottles of root beer milk, one of Matt’s favorite treats. Mindy Rice created uniquely beautiful centerpieces with cotton bolls, pine cones, and evergreens. Candles added a warm and cozy glow.
Menu

LOVE this winter wedding, from the brides gown to the food, all perfect, thanks for sharing Kathryn!
Wow, so amazing to see images of a stunning wedding in the snow now in the middle of summer. Images are so pretty
Actually, the milk was from a local Kansas City, MO dairy, not from Colorado! Please rectify this error! (I’m from KC and I’m a big Shatto milk fan!)
what an absolutely beautifully-themed wedding! i love that there were so many Colorado-centric pieces (candy treats, the root beer milk!). really, just a stunning wedding with such a gorgeous couple. lovely pictures. thank you for sharing!
This wedding blew me away. Quiet, perfect, simple- not a single off note. Loved seeing more of it here on Snippet. Thank you Kathryn!
This wedding is pure eye-candy most certainly (and how photogenic can one couple be?!), but – coming from the UK – I am more intrigued in this “root beer milk”! I totally L.O.V.E root beer, and drink as much as is humanly possible when I am in the States, but never have I come across root beer milk! Please enlighten me – I’m sure I’d love it!
i love the beaver creek chapel. and yes great bridal portrait
