Another fun rehearsal dinner full of details! This one comes to us from the ladies at Alison Events, and it’s full of elegant and rustic details – perfect for a laid back party on the shore of Lake Michigan.

Striped table runners and tent draping gave the dinner a tailored look, balancing the wildflower-inspired centerpieces and mismatched Liberty of London print napkins. Whitewashed floors balanced the rustic wood tables.

Dinner included a whole roasted pig from a local farm, corn on the cob, and potato salad made with the bride’s mother’s famous recipe.

The Howard Fishman Band band played New Orleans style jazz throughout the evening, and by sunset everyone was dancing in the grass. Guests roasted s’mores around a bonfire on the beach, and hung out until late in the night.

Elements like retro lawn chairs and corn cob skewers add just the right amount of kitsch.
