Ranunculus are my favorite spring flower because they have amazing depth and texture and come in so many pretty colors. I would definitely love to learn how to use them in arrangements. Since I am having a summer wedding and ranunculus will be out of season, I plan on using garden roses in my wedding arrangements to give a similar effect.

  • Love and always loved pakalana- a small very fragile and hard to find flower that in hawaii – they make the best leis and smell amazing! Would love to be able to come to the workshop and learn how to style my own flowers for my shoots and work with some very talented people- and just to visit another part of the world!

  • KT says:

I live in the Bay Area and would LOVE to attend this workshop! I’ve been looking for local floral design classes and this sounds perfect. I’m seriously considering doing floral arrangements for my wedding next year and would benefit a ton from expert advice before doing a trial run on my own. I’m drawn to many of the classic flowers, and am leaning toward simple but dramatic orchid centerpieces as my top choice.

  • Jill Shenker says:

To be honest, getting my hands into any flowers makes me super happy. But seeing how May is awash in wild flowers, I’d love to play with incorporating that little taste of california. This event sounds like quite a decadent beautiful day.

  • Cecilia says:

As an amateur florist (commissioned by family members’ weddings and friends’ work fundraisers and paid in homecooked meals) I have so many dream arrangements! I’ve most recently been dreaming about a summery arrangement with milky cafe au lait dahlia’s, orange and yellow Icelandic poppies, some blush-colored juliet roses and peachy ranunculus. Bits of waxflowers and lots of greens! So many greens! I would love to attend this workshop because I’m really inspired by the innovative and very natural-looking arrangements by both of the studios hosting this. I’m also gearing up to do flowers for my older sister’s wedding on May 30th and could always use the practice/inspiration to make sure she gets the best wedding flowers her little sister can manage to pull together.

  • Jean says:

I would love to incorporate peonies, hydrangeas, and other fun big flowers in my dream arrangement. My wedding is coming up and being able to attend the workshop would be a dream to help me better plan & arrange for my DIY. It would also give me a chance to meet Megan (who will be photographing the event), who is an inspiration to me with her photography style and ideas. It’d be an honor to get to learn from Daisy Rose Floral Design and Hawthorn Flower Studio, as I love their work as well! All in all, it can’t get much better than flowers, wine, + photography!

  • Kate says:

Deciding which flower is tough! I love calla lilies, sweet peas and poppies (especially the red ones I saw on the hills in Italy). I’m a big fan of Daisy’s style and color sense, so I would love to get a lesson & be able to build my own arrangement like that. Not to mention the fact that Hamel has an amazing tasting room and wine cave! I would love to go back for this workshop.

  • SF says:

This sounds absolutely magical!! Jasmines smell so lovely, and lilies are gorgeous with their big and bold personality! Would love to learn what I could do what them (or anything else for that matter!)

  • Sophie says:

My dream flower arrangement would include lavender and sunflowers. I would love to attend the workshop because Daisy Rose is amazing!!

  • Dakota says:

My favorite flowers are white roses and sunflowers, both bold and unique. One is formal and classy and the other whimsical and bright. As an aspiring event planner, I see every opportunity to learn from industry professionals as a great life lesson. Design isn’t an art, but a lifestyle and learning how to make one’s perfect floral arrangement is just another step to a joyous lifestyle.

  • I adore the quirky flowers, like proteas, grevilleas, and banksia. Tillandsias also hold a special place in my heart.

  • Olivia says:

I just took a big bold step and decided to pull together a group of friends and family to create flower arrangements for my June wedding. I did a test run using flowers from a Bay Area wholesaler and fell in love with using heaps and heaps of greenery. I’m looking forward to using eucalyptus in my bouquet–a nice homage to California for my DC area wedding. I’m most excited about adding a big, fluffy bright pink peony in my bouquet! So bright and happy!

I’d love to attend the workshop and learn more (while sipping Rose) with some talented and lovely people!!

  • My ideal arrangement would focus on the contrast of deep red dahlias and purple tipped succulents. I’d pepper in something that has lots of round little flowers ( I need expert advice on this part!) to finish off these bouquest! What a cool event!

  • Adriana L. says:

Peonies for true love in Wedding arrangements would be my pick. I would be so delighted to win this giveaway, the two designers are amazing at what they do!

  • Whitney S. says:

I am currently loving the use of amaranthus in wedding bouquets. I’d love to attend this workshop, but I’d actually give the seat to my bestie who has thinking of opening up her own floral design studio, with the hope that this would be just the push she needs ;).

  • Kathleen says:

My dream arrangement would include Nigella hispanica flowers and seedpods! I’d LOVE to attend the workshop for several reasons: 1) Have you ever met Daisy? She is blast to be around–so fun, funny, kind, positive, and talented–just an amazing person in every way! Participating in a Daisy co-led workshop would be exhilarating. 2) I love Daisy’s designs: so organic, natural, unique, unexpected, exciting, and stunningly gorgeous. To get instruction from someone whose style I love and admire so much would be a dream come true. 3) Megan’s photography is just beautiful! 4) It would be wonderful to meet Melanie!

  • Michelle says:

Honestly I don’t know a lot of the names of flowers and plants that I think are beautiful. That’s one of the reasons I would love to join this workshop! but I do know that I love dahlias. They have this amazing geometry, richness of color–they’re just so striking!

  • Ada says:

I’d include lavender! I’d love to attend the workshop to learn how Daisy comes up with her stunning compositions and what is involved in sustainable flower care. What a wonderful event this will be!

  • Mary Ngim says:

Hellebores! Ever since my wedding, I’ve fallen in love with flower design and would love to learn about floral design and how to put together arrangements!

  • Moira H says:

My flowers of choice would be peonies, hydrangeas and orchids in hues of pink and white.
Attending the workshop would be a dream…I’d love to learn how to arrange flowers, meet new people and drink a little wine. It truly sounds like the perfect day! Thanks for offering such an amazing giveaway. I have my fingers crossed ;-)

  • Thea says:

I’d want to add the of fashioned antique roses like Eden.

  • Debra says:

I’d love wildflowers and roses. Roses are available year-round and there are many varieties; with wildflowers, you don’t ever know what seasonal beauty is blooming at the time.

  • Katie says:

I would want lavender, as we just planted some! I could see how to blend the different varieties. I love the natural look!
