Before submitting a wedding or other content to Snippet & Ink, please have a look at our submission guidelines…

In general, we require exclusivity for our features. Except in rare cases, we will not accept weddings or content that has been featured elsewhere, will be featured elsewhere, or that has been submitted elsewhere for consideration.

Snippet & Ink is all about creating weddings with meaning, and we feature a variety of weddings. We especially love weddings that are simple and sophisticated, with meaningful and thoughtful details. You can get a sense of our aesthetic by looking through our ARCHIVES.

NOTE: We are expanding our features to include details about the ceremony. Please make sure your clients are willing to answer in-depth questions about their wedding ceremony, and preferably share the content of their ceremony. 

To avoid confusion, we ask that submissions come from the photographer. To submit a real wedding, please email us at SUBMISSIONS@SNIPPETANDINK.COM with the following:

– a link to a Dropbox folder with 75-125 images (sized at 1000 pixels wide, 72 dpi); please send the direct link to the Dropbox folder NOT an invitation to view a Dropbox folder
– Dropbox folder should be labeled with your company name and the name of the couple
– OR a link to a published blog post
– please do NOT send images as email attachments
– please do NOT send galleries with passwords
– a brief description of the wedding
– a subject line in the following format: “Submission: Vermont Wedding” or “Submission: San Francisco Wedding”

Because of the volume of submissions we receive, we are unable to review submissions that do not meet these requirements. Submissions sent in a zip folder or via YouSendIt, Hightail, SmugMug, Picasa, Pixieset, etc. will not be considered for publication.

We believe that weddings aren’t just about the photos, and it’s important to us that couples have a chance to tell their story, and that contributing vendors are properly credited. Please include a brief description of the wedding in your submission, and if it is a fit we will request more details and information.

We review and respond to each submission, so please expect up to 21 days for a reply.

NOTE: Do NOT submit a wedding without express written permission from the couple, and please make sure they will be available to answer questions about the event.


We do accept submissions for TRADITIONS. We will happily accept a tradition from a bride, groom, or vendor.  Please send us photo(s) and a paragraph about what the tradition means to you to SUBMISSIONS@SNIPPETANDINK.COM.


We do accept submissions for CEREMONY SCRIPTS, WEDDING VOWS, CEREMONY READINGS. We will happily accept a tradition from a bride, groom, or vendor.  Please follow the submission guidelines for Real Weddings.

We only accept wedding films as part of a larger photo feature. To submit one, please have the photographer include a link to the film along with their photo submission. Wedding films should be no longer than 5 minutes.

We no longer accept submissions for styled shoots. If you are interested in working with us directly to collaborate on creating content for Snippet & Ink, please contact us at SUBMISSIONS@SNIPPETANDINK.COM.

We do accept submissions for wedding-related parties. Please follow the submission guidelines for Real Weddings.

We rarely feature engagement sessions, but will consider them for publication. Please follow the submission guidelines for Real Weddings.

We generally do not accept products for review. If you would like to introduce your product or service to us, please send a brief description, no more than 3 images, and a link to your website or portfolio.
