If you dream of seeing one of your Pinterest boards brought to life, then you’re going to love this contest from The Lab Event!
The Lab is a collection of some of the best wedding vendors Northern California has to offer, and the event is designed as an experience for couples seeking vendors and inspiration for their wedding day. Instead of the typical wedding show vendor booths, The Lab is a fun party where you’ll find sips and bites from some of the best caterers, sweet and treats from top dessert designers, a vendor library, a non-traditional runway show, and inspiration boards brought to life. And The Lab is calling on Snippet & Ink readers to create inspiration boards on Pinterest, one of which will be brought to life at the event! Here’s how it will work:
1. Create a Pinterest board.
2. Name your board, and include “The Lab 2013″ in the name. (For example: Toasted Marshmallow | The Lab 2013)
3. Pin away! Create your dream wedding with at least 10 images.
4. Once you are done with your beautiful board, leave a comment on this post with a link to your board no later than August 24 at 11:59PM PDT.
The ladies at The Lab will go through all the boards and choose one board to bring to life at the event, which will be announced on August 27th. The creator of the selected board will also receive 2 free tickets to The Lab 2013 (January 12, 2013) and an awesome swag bag from the event. If you’re unable to attend, they’ll send a swag bag for you to enjoy.

Update! It’s been brought to my attention that some people have had trouble creating pins with the hashtag and tinyurl link, so I have removed this step from the process. Just make sure to leave a comment on this post with a link to your Pinterest board!
Update 8/28/12 There were so many entries that the ladies at The Lab are still look through all of them! I’ll be announcing the winner as soon as they’ve finished reviewing all the entries.
