Tulips and Windmills, Best Mother’s Day Gift Ideas, and Have a Happy Weekend!

I’m on a kick with checking things off my bucket list! Yesterday, on a whim, I decided to buy a solo ticket to Amsterdam for a quick Summer trip! Have you ever traveled solo? And, speaking of Amsterdam, now my days are filled with figuring out what to do!  Do I stay there the whole time?  Or hop on a train to check out other cities?! Bruges and Prague sound so dreamy. If you have any tips—I’m all ears! xoxo

A little Friday humor.

Always love a good Panna Cotta, but chai-spiced? Yum!

When sushi and fashion collide.

This is absolutely magical.

Wrapping gifts just got a whole lot cuter!

Encyclopedia of rainbows.

Boy Bye.

You better believe I’m making this for my mama on Mother’s Day!

Happy Cinco de Mayo! Cadillac Margaritas are probably my favorite cocktail, ever. (I’m telling you, it’s all about the Grand Marnier!)

A little whimsy from Dolce & Gabbana.

Sad, but so ridiculously true.

Let’s stop apologizing (a good read!).

And finally, some Mother’s Day Gift Ideas:

  • If you can, I would totally recommend visiting Ghent, Belgium! My husband and I stayed there for a week on our honeymoon and we still dream of it on the regular. It’s a university town, so it feels very cool and fun (and not overly touristy) but it also has similar architecture as Bruges. If you go, head to the Het Waterhuis aan de Bierkant for beers on the canal and ‘t Oud Clooster for an amazing meal in what used to be a convent! :)

Vivian! Thank you so much for your recommendation! I’m going to look Ghent up. So excited! xoxox

  • Tammy says:

Prague!!!! We loved it there, Amsterdam was great, and you should see Anne Franks House, get tickets early, and the Rijksmuseum was our favorite. But we did most everything we wanted in a short period of time… if you are up for training around Prague and Budapest were both amazing… have so much fun:

I have an alarm on my phone to buy tix to Anne Frank house exactly two months before! And, thank you for the other museum rec, will definitely check it out. xoxox
