Though Valentine’s Day is still a couple weeks off, I couldn’t resist this pretty pink and black shoot from Ariella Chezar and Meg Smith. The Olema Inn where this shoot took place, is certainly one of the loveliest places I’ve had the chance to visit, and it’s the perfect choice for these romantic details. I’m inspired to throw a Valentine party!
Monogrammed mugs from Anthropologie each contain a different type of flower. Victorian table cards and paper garlands both from Tail of the Yak. Ariella adorned the bouquet (which includes anemones, ranunculus, ornithogalum, blushing bride protea, garden roses, as well as a few silk flowers, black silk leaves, and dyed black fairy leaves) with wide pink ribbons and black French net. Ariella made the pink buttercream cake, embellished with flowers, faux mushrooms (find similar ones here), and a vintage cake topper. Pretty favor boxes, from Addison Endpapers (510-601-8112), each have a small window in them to show off the chocolate treats inside.
This is just a small sampling of the amazing work that both Ariella and Meg do. And I’ve said it before, but for those of you who missed it, make sure you have some time to devote to getting lost in their websites. I’ve easily spent hours delving through all of the inspiration on both sites…

I LOVE Ariella Chezar! Thanks for sharing!
Such pretty colours and those paper flags.
Love the embellishments to the bouquet and flowers! Just stunning! Love the colors too… not too sweet.
oooooo now this is gorgeous! Stunning color palette! Really and truly!
The combination of the frilly, girly girl pink mixed with the earthy elements is so fascinating. The faux mushrooms are a great unexpected element that makes this very noteworthy. On the garland, they almost look like snail shells. The whole party reminds me of Alice in Wonderland in the garden.
Oh, I love everything these ladies do! What a romantic collection of details. Sometimes I wish I were marrying another girl so I could get away with a feminine scheme, haha, I don't think the Mr. would approve, but I looooooooove it.
Mmmm. Fresh and vintage without being too girly. I like it! I especially like the black with the anemones.
I am loving the French black netting in the bouquet. The whole wedding is very vintage/romantic with a hint of burlesque! Pretty sure you will find back netting at my wedding. THANKS
I adore the black netting in the bouquet! Everything has such a vintage, classy feel! beautiful!
