Lulu Kate has some dresses that are under $1000. They are part of her ‘Bridal Alternatives’. Reall pretty and simple but classic.

Love the blog! Have been reading it since I started planning my wedding and continue even though the wedding is over:)

  • Rachael says:

Wow! This is an amazing post, so inspiring. So, since I was a bride last summer I can no longer dream about my wedding dress but I can drool over the amazing new designs! I am however attending a ton of weddings this summer, I would love to see some inspiration for wedding guest attire!

  • “Sarah Seven Elope” would be my choice if I was doing a re-do wedding. Love the short length with just enough of an a line to accentuate curves. This dress is made for short girls like me:)
Loved how my cursive font, Belluccia, looks with all the pics!

  • Christine says:

These are lovely! You may have done a post about this before, but I’ve noticed many full-length bridesmaid dresses that are ivory, silk, and cost under $150. They usually have little to no embellishment, but that could be solved with a little trim, or maybe one of those sparkley sashes/belts!

My gown is a very similar version to Taffeta Ball Gown listed here by White by Vera Wang. My dress is also White by Vera Wang, and it was exactly $1000! It’s the most gorgeous thing I’ve ever seen, can’t wait to wear it next month in my spring wedding!

I hope other Brides are inspired by your post, girls you can have the dress of your dreams, even if youre on a budget! ;)

  • These are really GREAT! A friend sewed my dress, but there are several options here I would definitely consider otherwise. Thanks for the post!

Check out http://www.bhldn.com. They’re having a sale, and some of the dresses in the bridesmaids catagory could definitely work as wedding dresses; for example a cute white minidress for $280. All are under $400, and there’s lots of beautiful accessories on sale as well

  • CN says:

Love this! Wish I hadn’t bought my dress yet! Over $1K but not by much!

  • Christie says:

I loved this post! Especially the last dress as I am obsessed with blue!

  • Carlen says:

This may be one of my favorite posts yet! I cannot get over that gorgeous Marchesa dress. Can’t wait to pick one out myself!

  • Also, department stores like Nordstrom, Macey’s, and Bloomingdales have great dresses…and often if sign up for the mailing list/google for a coupon code, you can save an extra 10-20% off your purchase…making that $1000 gown only $800!

  • An interesting discussion is definitely worth comment.
I think that you need to publish more about
this issue, it may not be a taboo matter but generally people don’t talk about such issues. To the next! Cheers!!

  • I think that blog is pretty interesting,I really like these pictures , clothing styles look good

  • My sister is getting married next month. She is ready to start shopping for a wedding dress. She wants a nice dress, but she doesn’t want to spend a lot of money on it. My sister is great at finding deals, so I’m sure that she will be able to find a great wedding dress.

  • Dresses dresses dresses…imagine if we daily buy a new dresses then what is coast will be? can you show me more new and stylish dresses? Thats why i have to order from this site.
