Bailey & Andy | Vintage Wedding on The Queen Mary

Looking for a totally unique venue? How about an historical ship that now acts as a one-of-a-kind hotel? Bailey and Andy decided to do just that, tying the knot on The Queen Mary in a wedding full of vintage style.

Why did you choose this location?  We chose to get married in California because our families are from different areas of the United States, and we wanted to have everyone travel and make a vacation out of it. We chose the Queen Mary in particular because it was so different and the ship itself is incredibly beautiful. The Art Deco décor of the ship makes you feel like you are stepping back in time and we both loved that.

Did you include any traditions in your wedding?  During the reception my family did a circle dance in memory of my grandfather. It is a family tradition we do whenever we’re together.

What advice do you have for other brides?  Don’t sweat the small stuff, everything will work out they way it is supposed to. Also, hire a wedding coordinator. Halleigh Hill at Moment Privé was incredible and did so much organizing for our wedding.
