Adrienne (right) says “My gown by CLAIRE PETTIBONE was crafted from a stunning antique-inspired lace with blue and red embroidery. It had a sheer plunging back, and a long train which added to the drama. I fell in love with it when I first saw a photo of it going down the runway. The color and unique textiles made it exceptional. It was the only dress for me.” Photography by Christina McNeill. Event Planning & Design: THEY SO LOVED EVENTS.
Says Elise: “It’s a 1920s inspired, champagne beaded gown with a white tulle skirt – the Pisces gown by BADGLEY MISCHKA. It was the only wedding dress I’ve ever been personally drawn to, and was actually discontinued by the time I got married. I had to hunt one down!”. Says Erin, “While searching for a wedding dress, I had a really hard time finding something that fit my personality and really wowed me. I didn’t just want to wear any other dress on my wedding day. I had reached out to a local wedding dress designer, NATALIE WYNN, and was able to get a custom-made dress. Since everything traditional that I had tried on hadn’t really given me that special feeling you hope for, we decided to go with a more non-traditional design with the colored floral embroidery.” Photography by ALIXANN LOOSLE.
Paige’s hand-stitched lace embroidery on her CAROLINA HERRERA gown and celestial inspired mantilla veil were just some of the many reasons why we loved her bridal look so much! Photography by MEGAN SOREL, event planning & design by BLUEBIRD PRODUCTIONS.
I think it’s safe to say that jumpsuits and capes are here to stay! Photography by G. CHAPIN STUDIOS. Event planning & design by BROOKE CASEY WEDDINGS, Jumpsuit by TIBI and cape by WILLIAMSBURG SEAMSTER.
You might remember from Louise and Cameron from our Best Weddings of 2017, but we can’t get enough of Louise’s dramatic OSCAR DE LA RENTA number out of our heads! Veil “Jenny” by CAROLINA HERRERA. Photography: CHRISTY CASSANO-MEYER, event Planning & Design: J29 EVENTS
