Board #145 | Kelly’s Vivacious Wedding

Vivacious is the best word I can think to describe Kelly. She is one of those people who has this energy that just makes you want to be around her. She is fun, outgoing and hilarious, so I think pink is a fantastic color choice for her wedding. I also thought I’d include some fun details, like a stack of donuts in place of a cake, and sparklers as a send off.

Mood: fun, vibrant
Palette: shades of pink, ivory

    Hi Kathryn,

I came across your blog a few weeks ago. It’s really a wonderful blog, full of inspirations and creative ideas. I especially love the mood board projects.
Please keep up the good work.
    Definitely my favorite daily blog.

Love it, but I would add some yellow or apple green to keep the pink from being too “cute”. Thanks for being my new favorite blog! It sure makes party planning fun!

Vivacious is one of my favorite words (Number 4 on the list…yes I have a list). I was telling someone my plans for the future and that’s what she used to describe me. Sweet!

Speaking of sweet…I love the doughnut centerpiece idea. It would also be a great evening pick-me-up at the end of the night.

Thank you so much for the mood board. I absolutley love it! Thank you for all your hardwork. I think that I will add bright green as a color too. I think the donut plate would work great later on in the evening after a couple dances. I will see what the reception hall says?
