Board #210 | Pink Flamingo

The main inspiration for this bold, fun wedding board was the fabulous hat by Katie Burley (thank you to Rebecca for sharing that!) – I imagine a really sassy bride wearing one with her gown. While this wedding board could certainly inspire nuptials on the beach, it could also be a new twist on the classic country club fete. Set up croquet or Bocce ball, and definitely serve a signature cocktail called the Pink Flamingo! Madras ties for the groom and groomsmen echo the canopy of woven ribbons (an ambitious do-it-yourself project!), and flamingo lawn ornaments add a little humor.

Mood: sassy, bold Miami fun
Palette: aqua, hot pink, a little green and yellow

I love this board Kathryn! So fun and the color combo is beautiful!

The thing I love about your boards is that you pull in colors that are not always in the color scheme. So many times I see couples locked on one or two colors, but u show a palette and it is amazing.

I read every morning during my first cup of Joe and often pass on your advice and boards to my wedding clients!
