Board #243 | Campout!

We’re still in the midst of summer, so I thought a camp-themed wedding board would be fun. Rustic and slightly kitschy, with s’mores, compasses, lanterns and sparklers. I love the getaway canoe, complete with tin cans, and the burlap table runner. But my favorite detail by far, one that would work in any number of outdoor weddings, is the tie tree – a place for guests to hang up their ties and relax!

Mood: rustic, a touch of kitsch
Palette: shades of green and brown

I seriously love your boards! My FI and I are having a second (super casual) wedding with all of the people in his home town out in the boondocks of Kentucky, and I think I’ve stolen at least one idea from each of your “outdoorsy” boards! Keep them coming – otherwise our barnyard-kentucky wedding won’t have any style!!

I stummbled on your site and LOVE your boards! I do have a question though (and it might seem silly), but what is the “etiquette” for putting together things like this and crediting the source?

I love looking a pretty things and would love to put together some inspiration boards of my own, but don’t want to violate anyone’s intellectual property rights!! :)
